A Month back i was travelling with my friend in BMTC [ Local Transit of Bangalore]. My friend bought a ticket and i had a pass. Everything was normal till then. My friend handed over rupees 20 for the ticket. The price of the ticket was 17 or 18 ( oops... i don't remember). Generally the conductors if they do not have the change , they write the amount on the back of the ticket and pay back later but this time it was EPIC. This conductor had some toffees in his pocket. He gave my friend 2 toffees in return. Yep the value of the toffees was equal to exact change value the conductor had to give. I was surprised and just exchanged a smile with the conductor. Till That day i had seen people giving a toffee instead of 1 rupee as change but that was in some small stalls. That day was the first time i ever saw a bus conductor do it. Now i get it why people say that it's time that the Indian government Declares Eclairs as the new one rupee!!
